Ever dreamt of falling asleep to the sound of a lion roaring a mightly good night to you?
Did you ever want to awake to the sound of the animal kingdom stirring to life?
You will experience all this and more right here in the heart of the city.
The National Zoo offers an exciting opportunity for families and groups to sleep over in the Zoo.
You will arrive at 17:00 when your guide will take you and your equipment to the camping site. After that you will be taken on a guided tour where the emphasis will be on interesting facts and traditional folklore.
Tables and chairs will be provided for a bring-and-braai after the tour. Please bring your own tents, other camping equipment, cutlery, crockery, food and drinks.
The following day can be spent at leisure in the National Zoo.
When do the tours take place?
Camping tours also take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.
